Maranyane connects people. We don't handle money between buyers and sellers, and we can't guarantee any deal.

• Never pay before you've seen the item (or the room, or the car) and met the person.
• No deposits to "reserve" something you haven't seen. This is the most common scam.
• Real jobs don't charge you. If someone wants a "registration fee" to apply, it's a scam.
• Rentals: view the place first, and be careful of anyone who can't show it to you.
• Meet in busy public places in daylight, and bring a friend for big purchases.
• Too good to be true (a new iPhone for P1,500)? It usually is.
